The different phases of the game (map moves, control of the vessel, and naval battles) dovetail perfectly with each other, and each offers its own particular gameplay. The progression system in the game is very well thought out and you'll take great pleasure in slowly developing your small band of pirates. If you've always dreamed of going to sea, then Assassin's Creed Pirates is for you! Your task will be to lead your ship, plunder merchant ships, and confront other pirates with questionable intentions. Rather than trying to ape the Assassin's Creed IV console experience, Pirates focuses on its maritime aspect.
